Distant Fury Stallion/Steel Knight

U.S. Air Force HH-60W Jolly Green II helicopters assigned to the 943d Rescue Group sit aboard littoral combat ship USS Tulsa (LCS 16) during Exercise Distant Fury Stallion/Steel Knight off the coast of California, Dec. 8, 2024. This is the first time two HH-60's have ever embarked on an LCS simultaneously. This joint exercise with the Marine Corps and Navy provides an opportunity to validate the 920th Rescue Wing's interoperability in remote, austere conditions such as the Indo-Pacific region.
