IR Strategy Office (ISO pilot) creates IMA Ready Training Plan
For the past year, foundational training across the force has been transitioning to a new model to prepare Airmen to develop and demonstrate the mindset required to support the AFFORGEN deployment model. The IR Strategy Office (ISO pilot) represented the IMA portfolio as key decisions were made about the timeline of training. In early October AF/A3T released FY24 Ready Airman Training Requirements to the force. The guidance memorandum addresses IMA's unique structure stating, "To balance mission execution with annual participation requirements all IMAs will complete Category 1, Reduced Risk training requirements over a four-year AFFORGEN cycle." HERE is a sample, four-year training plan developed by the ISO for guidance.
