A Spanish Air Force C-15 from Torrejón Air Base, Spain pulls away after refueling from a U.S. Air Force KC-46A Pegasus from McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., April 18, 2022. The fighter was amongst the first Spanish or European aircraft fueled by the U.S.’s newest tanker. McConnell AFB’s aircrew and Pegasi were in Spain for an Employment Concept Exercise, which is designed to further operational testing and evaluation, increase crews' proficiency and support personnel and strengthen aircraft sustainment operations.
