Col. Jeffrey Van Dootingh, 403rd Wing commander, receives his first dose of the COVID vaccine, Feb. 6, 2021 from Lt. Col. Sabrina Hawkins, 403rd Aeromedical Staging Squadron nurse. The 403rd Wing received the vaccine for the February Unit Training Assembly and the 403rd ASTS began administering the vaccine to wing members that volunteered to take it, based on a tier system that prioritizes personnel at risk of being exposed daily to receive it first.
