Reserve Citizen Airmen Mobilized to Support COVID-19 Response

A U.S. Air Force Reserve C-5M Super Galaxy with the 68th Airlift Squadron, 433rd Airlift Wing, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, offloads medical personnel at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, April 5, 2020, to support the residents of New York City in the fight against COVID-19. These personnel are from Lackland and Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, Texas. This deployment is part of a larger mobilization package of more than 120 doctors, nurses and respiratory technicians that Air Force Reserve units across the nation provided over the past forty-eight hours in support of COVID-19 response to take care of Americans.
