From retired to rehired

Lt. Col. (retired) Matthew Wehner (left) clips the Meritorious Service Medal to Lt. Col. Stuart M. Rubio, commander of the Air Force Reserve’s 815th Airlift Squadron “Flying Jennies” during Rubio’s retirement ceremony held July 28, 2018, at the Roberts Consolidated Maintenance Facility, Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi. Rubio, an active-duty C-130 pilot who has been commander of the Flying Jennies since February of 2016, will still continue to serve as commander of the squadron, but instead as a reservist as part of the Regular Air Force to Air Force Reserve Program.
