SERE refresher training
Staff Sgt. Jarrod Burgess, 920th Operations Support Squadron aircrew flight equipment specialist, briefs 920th Rescue Wing survival, evasion, resistance and escape refresher course students on the rules of engagement after dropping them off in a remote location within the Malabar Annex, Patrick Air Force Base, Florida, Nov. 6, 2017. The team had to put their training to work as they navigated their way back to base camp, while evading the “enemy.” Eighteen Citizen Airmen attended the two-day SERE training session Nov. 5-6, 2017 that included one day of classroom instruction, followed by a day of field exercises.
