SpaceX

SpaceX made history March 30, 2017 with the successful launch of a reused Falcon 9 rocket from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 6:27 p.m. EDT. One hour prior to the milestone launch, Citizen Airmen from the 920th Rescue Wing were clearing the box beneath the rocket’s path in an HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter ensuring no mariners were in harm’s way prior to launch.
