Master Sgt. Heidi White holds her 19-year-old daughter Elissa's hand while her daughter recovers rom surgery December 7, 2016 at Florida Hospital, Orlando. Elissa White had surgery to donate one of her kidneys to her father, Retired Master Sgt. Derrell White who had been facing the harsh reality that he may not make it to Christmas Day due to a chronic medical condition that was worsening.
