Army green inspires Air Force blue: Reservists help wounded warrior
Senior Master Sgt. Bradley Otey, 459th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron flight chief (left), shares a laugh with U.S. Army Sgt. (ret.) Adam Key (right) as other 459th members unbox power tools in Keys’ garage in Annapolis, Md., Feb. 27, 2016. Ten members of the 459 AMXS volunteered on behalf of the nonprofit Patriots Honor to unpack, build and install workbenches, power tools and roll-aways in Keys’ garage in an effort to help make dreams come true for Wounded Warriors. Keys, a triple amputee who has endured more than 130 surgeries due to injuries sustained from an IED explosion in Afghanistan in 2010, intends to use the equipment to pursue his hobby of building small engines and model cars.
