Pope crew chiefs earn black letter C-130
Master Sgt. Angela Psket, a dedicated crew chief with the 440th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, right, and Staff Sgt. Darren Ricchiazzi, assistant crew chief serving as an augmentee with the 440th AMXS, recently earned rare black-letter flights on their C-130H2 Hercules aircraft, pictured, at Pope Army Airfield, N.C., November 2015. A black-letter is awarded when maintenance inspectors find no discrepancies on an aircraft prior to its flight, and is a very rare event for C-130 maintainers. (U.S. Air Force photo by 1st Lt.
