Swift Response 2015 was the largest combined airborne training on the continent since the end of the Cold War. The exercise included more than 4,800 participants from 11 NATO nations including Bulgaria, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain the United Kingdom and the United States. Two A-10 Thunderbolt IIs with the 303d Fighter Squadron that falls under the 442d Fighter Wing out of Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., land at Leilvarde Air Base in Latvia Aug. 26. These are the first two fighter jets to ever land here making history on this day. Maj.
