Members of the 482nd Fighter Wing at Homestead Air Reserve Base, Florida, go through a farewell line as they board an aircraft for a recent deployment. The Air Force’s redesigned air expeditionary force construct will modify how Reservists mobilize for contingencies and support combatant commanders. The new AEF construct is intended to make deployments more predictable for Reservists and improve opportunities for them to deploy with their units.
