AC-130A gunship from Gulf War
Aircraft No. 55-0014 looks less menacing on display at the Robins (Ga.) Museum of Aviation than it did over the “Highway of Death” during the Gulf War. The crew of the AC-130A gunship was credited with destroying at least 20 enemy trucks and four armored personnel carriers on the night of Feb. 26-27, 1991. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt. Chance Babin)
