Airmen take over maintenance responsibility

Active duty and reserve maintainers stand by their aircraft during a crew chief aircraft assignment ceremony at Duke Field, June 11. The 592nd Special Operations Maintenance Squadron and the 919th Special Operations Aircraft Maintenance Squadron assigned a dedicated crew chief and assistant crew chief to each of the 16 C-145s at Duke Field. Each aircraft has an active-duty and reserve crew chief assigned to it. The squadrons took over maintenance responsibility for the aircraft on July 1. (U.S. Air Force photo/Dan Neely)
