Airlift honored

RHEIN-MAIN AIR BASE, Germany -- Gen. Robert H. "Doc" Foglesong, U.S. Air Forces in Europe commander, speaks at the ceremonial closing of this longtime airlift base. The ceremony was Oct. 10 and closed the Air Force's "Gateway to Europe" after 60 years of service. The Air Force will turn the base over to the Frankfurt Airport Authority in December.
