Reservist among first to earn Combat Action Medal
Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. T. Michael Moseley presents Master Sgt Charlie Peterson of the 927th Logistical Readiness Squadron, Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Mich., the Air Force Combat Action Medal during a ceremony at the Air Force Memorial in Arlington, Va., on June 12, 2007. Peterson is the first Air Force Reservist to be given the medal which recognizes Airmen who distinguished themselves while engaged with hostile forces in the performance of their duties.
