Air Force Reserve adjusts to meet operational demands
Col. Robert Nordberg, right, commander of the 917th Operations Group, shows Lt. Gen. Charles E. Stenner Jr., commander of Air Force Reserve Command, the Combat Flight Instructor Course book in the group's 93rd Bomb Squadron facilities at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., on Sept. 25, 2009. Since the 1950s, every instructor in the B-52s completing the course has signed the book. As part of his duties, General Stenner routinely travels around the United States and overseas meeting Airmen. On this trip, he met with Lt. Gen. Frank Klotz, commander of Global Strike Command, at Barksdale AFB. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Jeff Walston)
