Lt. Col. Ron Wilt, 302nd Operations Group deputy commander, explains intricacies involved with the Modular Airborne Firefighting Mission to a member of the Colorado Springs, Colo., media. Colonel Wilt was one of 30 Reservists who departed Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., Oct. 23 for southern California to assist in battling raging wildfires that have forced thousand of residents to evacuate their homes for safety and shelter.
