Senior Airman Thomas Benincosa, 506th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, keeps a vigilant eye during night operations at Kirkuk Regional Air Base, Iraq, Nov. 2, 2007. In the background, oil refineries burn off excess oil. Airman Benincosa works the mid-shift for Alpha Flight, patrolling the perimeter of the base and guarding stations along the fence line. Kirkuk is the only base in Iraq completely patrolled and guarded by Air Force security forces. Airman Benincosa is one of many security forces members making that happen. He is a reservist from Air Force Reserve Command's 419th Security Forces Squadron, Hill Air Force Base, Utah. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Jeremy McGuffin)
