Pacific Angel puts Medical IMA to the test
KAMPONG CHHNANG PROVINCE, Cambodia -- A young Cambodian boy is being checked out for complaints of breathing trouble by Maj.Nisha Money, a preventive health physician from the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences, Andrews AFB, Md. A 13th Air Force led total force team of active duty, Reserve and National Guard members are working with doctors from the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, Cambodian dental students and other non-governmental organizations during Pacific Angel recently to provide cost free medical care to the people of Cambodia at three different operating locations. Operation Pacific Angel is a joint/combined multi-national humanitarian assistance operation conducted in the Pacific area of responsibility in support USCDRPACOM capacity-building efforts. Participating services include the Active, Reserve and National Guard components of the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF), and Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF).
