A loadmaster supervises the movement of a pallet of cargo off Pegausus Runway. Pallets like these typically contain a variety of equipment and foodstuff, as part of Joint Base Lewis-McChord's mission to support the U.S. Antarctic program and the National Science Foundation, for Operation Deep Freeze. Both the 62nd and 446th Airlift Wing's at JBLM McChord Field provide the C-17 support for Operation Deep Freeze. (Courtesy photo/ Chief Master Sgt. James Massura).
