Daddy 05 crew
Duke Field reservists of the MC-130E Combat Talon I aircrew "Daddy 05" were recently awarded the Air Force Association’s Brig. Gen. Russ Hoyt Award as the Air Force’s most outstanding aerial refueling crew for their efforts on a deployed mission in Afghanistan. The 10-hour mission consisted of nine events including refueling, orbiting, and infiltration and exfiltration of an assault team. Aircrew members pictured are (kneeling from left): Lt. Col.
