Former Flight Officer Herbert Heilbrun (left) shares a moment with Tuskegee Airman Ray Williams. Mr. Heilbrun spoke about flying with the Tuskegee Airmen during the Air Force Reserve Command Human Resources Development Council conference Oct. 24-27, 2010, in Atlanta. Mr. Heilbrun was a B-17 bomber pilot, escorted by Tuskegee Airman John Leahr, a P-51 pilot. They were reunited 50 years after their flights, only to discover that they went to school together 15 years before their military service. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech Sgt. Joe Zuccaro)
