Air Force Reserve efficiencies and budget discussed on Capitol Hill
Lt. Gen. Charles E. Stenner Jr., arrives at Capitol Hill to testify in front of the House Armed Services Committee on April 1, 2011. As the chief of the Air Force Reserve and commander of Air Force Reserve Command, General Stenner discussed the equipment and funding requirements which were sent to Congress as part of the President’s Fiscal Year 2012 Budget Request. The proposal included about $5 billion for the Air Force Reserve which provides about 17 percent of the Air Force’s capability for about four percent of the total Air Force budget.
