As part of a program called Fresh Air Fund, the French-speaking girl, who lives in Brooklyn, N.Y., spent a week with the family of Pam Jackson, 512th Financial Management Office chief. Jackson's daughter, Meaghan Ellwanger, made it possible for Jedvarline to experience several outdoor activities such as hiking and swimming as well as some indoor past times including crafting and scrapbooking.
