ANDREWS AIR FORCE BASE, Md. -- Air Force Reserve Special Agent Dan McNally receives the New York Police Department's Medal of Valor from Mayor Michael Bloomberg on Jan. 17, 2003. McNally, whose civilian job is that of NYPD Bomb Squad detective, received the medal for his heroic actions Sept. 11, 2001, at the site of the World Trade Center attacks.
