The installation's fleet will soon be part of a worldwide surge of C-5 aircraft. The surge, slated to take place between 17-21 Oct., will bring together 18 active-duty and 23 Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve Command crews and 41 total-force C-5 Galaxy aircraft to move cargo and passengers in support of combatant commanders across the globe.
