Big mamba

A black mamba, one of the world’s most venomous snakes, is displayed at a U.S. Africa Command forward operating base to show its 8-foot length. Duke Field reservist Master Sgt. Jennifer Alexander, currently deployed there as its pest control manager, helped remove it from a tree at an entrance to her deployed location. Alexander often works with host nation military officials to eliminate dangerous wildlife hazards and ensure non-threatening wildlife found on and near her base are safely returned to the wild.
