March moves important Navy passengers
Katrina, a bottlenose dolphin from the Navy’s Marine Mammal Program, reacts favorably as water is poured over her to keep her skin hydrated in flight. Eight dolphins were transported from Naval Air Station North Island, Coronado, Calif., via trucks to March Field accompanied by handlers, trainers, vets and equipment for transportation to their training location in Hawaii.
