Master Sgt Linda Flores, Tech Sgt. Shawana Harris, Tech Sgt. Skye Benitez and Staff Sgt. Nicholas Deasy, 944th Force Support Squadron members battled with mosquitoes and the cold as the weed the East Garden at the Alaska Botanical Garden. The group was part of a 28 member team from the Luke Air Force Base who spent their day off, while on duty in Alaska, volunteering at two local charities, the Alaska Botanical Garden, and the Children’s Lunchbox, a charity that provides meals to needy children.
