McChord crews receive iPad 3 tablets
Reserve aircrews from the 446th Airlift Wing, McChord Field, Wash., will receive Apple iPad 3 tablets Aug 3, 2012. Air Mobility Command purchased almost 300 iPads for wing aircrews and they will eventually serve as their primary tool for information access during C-17 Globemaster III missions once the crews have been trained on them.
