Field of honor

Almost 1,000 flags stand in the field in front of the museum, each flag honors someone who is currently serving, has served, or made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. A book with the names of each person being honored and the location of the flag stands at the front of the field for visitors to find the location of their service member being honored. This is the seventh year the Field of Honor ceremony has been at held at the Airborne and Special Operations Museum in downtown, May 11, 2013, Fayetteville, N.C.
