Tech. Sgt. Paul Shattuck, (third rider) 931st Maintenance Squadron on is pictured on a training ride with Senior Master Sgt. Joseph Salomon (first rider), 931st MXS Fabrication Flight chief, and Tech. Sgt. Noel Heyer, 931st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron support section technician in just two weeks before his cycling accident in June. Though the accident occurred only a few weeks prior to RAGBRAI, Shattuck decided to follow through and ride in the seven-day event, which covers more than 400 miles across Iowa.
