  • Master Sgt. Romeo Farinacci, 944th Airman & Family Readiness client support technician, joined the Air Force in 1998 initially as an electronic warfare apprentice but when an opportunity came up for him to become an airborne system engineer on an RC-135, Rivet Joint, he took it.

    Paying it forward

    Master Sgt. Romeo Farinacci, 944th Airman & Family Readiness Center non-commissioned officer in charge, joined the Air Force in 1998 initially as an electronic warfare apprentice but when an opportunity came up for him to become an airborne system engineer on an RC-135, Rivet Joint, he took it.

  • Chaplain (Capt.) Matthew Wilson, 944th Fighter Wing, was the first of the three to join the Air Force Reserve Command six years ago. His wife’s twin sister married Chaplain (1st Lt.) Daniel Smetana, 20th Fighter Wing, Shaw AFB, S.C.

    A brotherhood of chaplains

    A trio of Reserve Citizen Airmen have taken the concept of a military brotherhood to a literal level. Their wives are sisters, making them brothers-in-law as well as brothers-in-arms.
  • Mora and Delgado are step-sisters deployed from the 944th Fighter Wing, Luke Air Force Base, Arizona, and have consistently been linked together throughout their lives and currently find themselves together again, at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia.
