Summer opportunities available for Reserve teens

Teenagers of Air Force Reserve Airmen are eligible to apply for several upcoming summer opportunities, which include all or partial coverage of expenses. Application details for Aviation and Space Camp, and the 2016 Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard Teen Leadership Summit  are below. Organizers are also seeking adult chaperones and counselors, details for those positions are also below.

Aviation Camp

June 18-24, 2016

Application deadline: April 22, 2016

US Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Eligibility: Teens entering their sophomore or junior year of high school

Space Camp

2016 Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard Teen Leadership Summit

July 17-22, 2016 – Dahlonega, Georgia

Aug. 9-14, 2016, Estes Park, Colorado

Application deadline: May 1, 2016

Eligibility: Ages 14-18

All transportation, lodging, meals and program costs while at the summit will be centrally funded. Costs incurred driving the teen to and from the airport, baggage fees, additional spending money and incidental travel costs are the responsibility of the family.
