Four AFRC colonels nominated for brigadier general

Four Air Force Reserve Command colonels are among the names the president has nominated for promotion to brigadier general. 

Col. James H. Dienst has been nominated to the rank of brigadier general. Dienst is currently serving as the command surgeon, Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.

Col. James J. Fontanella has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Fontanella is currently serving as the commander, Force Generation Center, Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.

Col. Albert V. Lupenski has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Lupenski is currently serving as the commander, 439th Airlift Wing, Air Force Reserve Command, Westover Air Reserve Base, Massachusetts.

Col. Russell A. Muncy has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Muncy is currently serving as the commander, 452nd Air Mobility Wing, Air Force Reserve Command, March Air Reserve Base, California.

Other Air Force promotion nominations announced by Secretary of Defense Ash Carter include: 

Maj. Gen. John D. Bansemer for appointment to the rank of lieutenant general and for assignment as assistant director of National Intelligence for Partner Engagement, Office of the Director of National Intelligence, Washington, District of Columbia. Bansemer is currently serving as deputy chief, Central Security Service, National Security Agency, Fort George G. Meade, Maryland.

Col. John J. Degoes has been nominated to the rank of brigadier general. Degoes is currently serving as the command surgeon, Headquarters U.S. Northern Command, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado.

Col. Mark A. Koeniger has been nominated to the rank of brigadier general. Koeniger is currently serving as deputy director, medical operations and research, Office of the Surgeon General, Falls Church, Virginia.

Col. Lee Ann T. Bennett has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Bennett is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the commander, 25th Air Force, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas.

Col. Patricia N. Beyer has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Beyer is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the commander, Air Force Legal Operations Agency, Joint Base Andrews Naval Air Facility, Maryland.

Col. Richard M. Casto has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Casto is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the director of operations and training, deputy chief of staff, operations, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia.

Col. Jonathan M. Ellis has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Ellis is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the director of operations, Headquarters Air Force Global Strike Command, Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana.

Col. John P. Healy has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Healy is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the commander, 618th Air Operations Center, Tanker Airlift Control Center, Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.

Col. Daniel J. Heires has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Heires is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the commander, 2nd Air Force, Air Education and Training Command, Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi.

Col. Robert A. Huston has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Huston is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the vice commander, 3rd Air Force and 17th Expeditionary Air Force, U.S. Air Forces in Europe, Ramstein Air Base, Germany.

Col. William R. Kountz Jr. has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Kountz is currently serving as the associate director of logistics, deputy chief of staff for logistics, engineering and force protection, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia.

Col. Christopher W. Lentz has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Lentz is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the command surgeon, Headquarters Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois

Col. Tyler D. Otten has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Otten is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the commander, 11th Air Force, Pacific Air Forces, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.

Col. Russell P. Reimer has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Reimer is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the commander, Air Force Test Center, Air Force Materiel Command, Edwards Air Force Base, California.

Col. Harold E. Rogers Jr. has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Rogers is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the vice commander, 7th Air Force, Pacific Air Forces, Osan Air Base, South Korea.

Col. Tracey A. Siems has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Siems is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the deputy assistant secretary for budget, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Financial Management and Comptroller, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia.
