AFRC leadership visits 307th Bomb Wing; stress accountability and readiness Published June 6, 2023 By 307th Bomb Wing Public Affairs 307th Bomb Wing BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. -- Lt. Gen. John Healy, chief of the Air Force Reserve and commander of Air Force Reserve Command, and AFRC Command Chief Master Sgt. Israel Nunez toured the 307th Bomb Wing here from June 1-4. Healy and Nunez met with hundreds of Reserve Citizen Airmen, answering their questions and getting a hands-on experience of several innovative efforts being employed by the wing. Both stressed the need for personal accountability per Task Order #2022-01, which outlines Healy’s expectations of all Airmen within the AFRC. “The whole purpose of the task order is accountability,” said Healy during a town hall meeting with the wing’s Airmen. “It’s about knowing and executing the expectations of readiness from the command level all the way to the individual Airman.” Nunez said that accountability was based on each Airman understanding the value of their service to the nation. He also encouraged the Airmen at the town hall meeting to share that idea with potential recruits. “We have to tell our story to the next generation so they understand what it means to be part of something special,” he said. “That story needs to be based on a deep sense of the value of your own efforts.” The 307th Bomb Wing visit was part of a larger effort by AFRC leadership to meet as many Airmen as possible and help synchronize their mission sets.
