Peterson reservists return from Middle East Published Oct. 19, 2005 PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Twenty-five Air Force reservists and two C-130H3 aircraft from the 302nd Airlift Wing returned home from the Middle East Oct. 18. This was the first redeployment of wing members who deployed Aug. 28 in support of U.S. Central Command operations. More than 400 members of the 302nd AW were activated in August and October. Nearly 150 of them have deployed. The mission of the Air Force Reserve Command unit is to train, equip and employ airlift forces in worldwide support of America’s national interests.
