Command receives 3 Air Force CE awards Published Oct. 24, 2005 AFRC News Service TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Air Force Reserve Command picked up three Air Force civil engineering awards here. The Society of American Military Engineers, the National Society of Professional Engineers, the Northeast Chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives and Air Force officials work together to select the annual award winners. The 910th Mission Support Group, Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio, earned the Col. Frederick J. Riemer Award for best Air Force reserve-component civil engineer readiness flight. Tech. Sgt. Charles Newsome of the 315th Civil Engineering Squadron, Charleston Air Force Base, S.C., was named the top reserve component civil engineer NCO manager. Master Sgt. Judy Whidbee of Headquarters AFRC, Robins AFB, Ga., received the Society of American Engineers’ Goddard Medal in the reserve component category.
