Reservists honored by Association of Military Surgeons

ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. --  The Association of Military Surgeons of the United States selected seven units and 17 reservists as winners of Air Force Reserve Command's 2006 AMSUS awards.

The 911th Airlift Wing, Pittsburgh International Airport Air Reserve Station, Pa., earned the most awards - two units awards and three individual awards.

The following awards were announced by the command May 3:

Aeromedical staging squadron (250 bed) - 445th Aeromedical Staging Squadron, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio

Aeromedical staging squadron (100 bed) - 914th ASTS, Niagara Falls International Airport Air Reserve Station, N.Y.

Medical squadron and detachment with expeditionary medical support - 440th Medical Squadron, Gen. Mitchell IAP ARS, Wis.

Medical unit with a generation mission - 932nd Aerospace Medicine Squadron, Scott AFB, Ill.
