Command selects youth of the year

Trevor Perreault, son of Elaine and Robert Perreault of Westover Air Reserve Base, Mass., is Air Force Reserve Command's Youth of the Year for 2007.

Trevor attends high school where he maintains a 4.1 GPA and participates in extracurricular activities such as cross country, track and tennis. He is a member of the Massachusetts Civil Air Patrol where he serves as a first sergeant and senior honor guard representative.

He is listed in the Who's Who Among American High School Students and was invited to attend "The Presidential Classroom Scholarship for Excellence in Academics and Leadership" in Washington, D.C.

Trevor is active in his church where he serves as youth group leader and vacation Bible school volunteer. He recently traveled to Canada on a mission trip. He also plays the drums and is a member of his school's drama club.

He plans to attend the U.S. Air Force Academy to pursue a career as a military officer. (Air Force Reserve Command News Service)
