DOD identifies Air Force Reserve casualty Published June 15, 2007 WASHINGTON -- The Department of Defense announced the identity June 14 of an Airman who died while deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Lt. Col. Glade L. Felix of Lake Park, Ga., died June 11 at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. He was assigned to the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing. His death is under investigation. The 379th AEW is comprised of 8,000 Airmen from the Air Force Reserve Command, Air National Guard, active duty and coalition forces supporting more than 100 combat and combat support aircraft, including eight coalition airframes. Colonel Felix was a reservist in the Air Force Reserve's 622nd Aeromedical Staging Squadron, Robins Air Force Base, Ga. (Air Force Reserve Command News Service)
