Air Force Reserve senior officers nominated for promotion

WASHINGTON --  Six Air Force Reserve brigadier generals and 15 colonels have been nominated by the president for promotion, according to an announcement Feb. 25 by Lt. Gen. Charles E. Stenner Jr., chief of Air Force Reserve.

Nominated for promotion to a second star are:

- Brig. Gens. Roger A, Binder, mobilization assistant to the commander of Air Combat Command, Langley Air Force Base, Va.

- David L. Commons, MA to the commander of Pacific Air Forces, Hickam AFB, Hawaii

- Anita R. Gallentine, MA to the deputy chief of staff, installations and logistics, Headquarters Air Force, Pentagon

- Carl M. Skinner, MA to the military deputy, Office of the Assistant Secretary of Air Force, Acquisition, Headquarters Air Force, Pentagon

- Howard N. Thompson, MA to the Air Force chief of staff, Headquarters Air Force, Pentagon

- Paul M. Van Sickle, deputy commander for mobilization and reserve affairs, U.S. Southern Command, Miami
