McConnell welcomes reservists home

McConnell welcomes reservists home

MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. -- Two dozen flyers and maintainers from Air Force Reserve Command's 931st Air Refueling Group returned here July 2 from a deployment to Southwest Asia.

The Airmen are from the 931st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and 18th Air Refueling Squadron. They came home about a week after a dozen other reservists from here deployed.

The 931st ARG currently has about 50 Airmen overseas in Afghanistan, Australia, Iraq and other parts of Southwest Asia.

The group expects to send reservists to several more deployments in 2009 and 2010. (Air Force Reserve Command News Service)
