Command names best in communications & information Published March 9, 2010 ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- Twelve people and an organization earned Air Force Reserve Command Communications and Information Awards for 2009. The awards include the top field grade officer, Maj. Randal George, 302nd Communications Flight, Peterson AFB, Colo.; company grade officer, Capt. Mathew Heath Van Horn, Headquarters AFRC, Robins AFB; and civilian specialist, Deborah Heady, 439th Communications Squadron, Westover Air Reserve Base, Mass. Award recipients in communications electronic systems are: Airman - Senior Airman, Michelle Patterson, 35th Combat Communications Squadron, Tinker AFB, Okla. NCO - Tech. Sgt. Joseph Aviles, 42nd CBCS, Joint Base Dix-McGuire, N.J. Senior NCO - Master Sgt. Michael Meek, 35th CBCS, Tinker AFB, Okla. In information management, Tech. Sgt. Eva Henderson, 419th CS, Hill AFB, Utah, was selected the top NCO, and Senior Master Sgt. Cynthia Alexander, 97th Flying Training Squadron, Sheppard AFB, Texas, was named top senior NCO. Receiving awards in communications computer systems are: Airman - Senior Airman Bronwyn Cooper, 35th CBCS, Tinker AFB NCO - Tech. Sgt. Aaron Smith, 35th CBCS, Tinker AFB Senior NCO - Chief Master Sgt. Patti Miller, Headquarters AFB, Robins AFB The 439th CS at Westover ARB received the Lt. Gen. Harold W. Grant Award.
