Niagara Falls dining facility wins Hennessy Award Published March 29, 2010 ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- For the first time in nine years, the 914th Services Squadron is heading to the front of the line to receive Air Force Reserve Command's John L. Hennessy Award. The last time the dining facility at Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, N.Y., won the command award was in 2001. In addition to food quality, the command evaluated kitchen operations; serving and dining operations; training, personnel and readiness; sanitation and repair maintenance; and management. Each year the Air Force Reserve, the Regular Air Force and the Air National Guard select the best dining facilities in their respective categories. Reservists from the Niagara Falls dining facility staff, along with the winning representatives from the active force and the Guard, will receive their awards during an awards banquet at the National Restaurant Association convention in Chicago in May.
