Dobbins aircrews clean up their act

DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE -- Members of the 94th Airlift Wing took part in aircrew decontamination training during the unit training assembly here Feb. 5-6.

Aircrews were able to update their currency with U.S. Air Force chemical decontamination procedures during training that simulated a chemical warfare environment.

Approximately 10 percent of the class dressed out in full aircrew chemical defense ensembles to allow aircrew flight equipment technicians to perform decontamination procedures. "They arrived contaminated and left the area clean . . . that is our mission in the chemical decontamination process," said Senior Master Sgt. Michael Morris, Aircrew Flight Equipment superintendent.
