United States Senator Johnny Isakson and the Georgia delegation hosted Academy Day 2011 at Dobbins ARB on Saturday, May 7. The annual statewide military academy day provided an opportunity for high school students interested in attending one of our nation's service academies and their parents to talk to academy representatives about what their schools have to offer. Represented were the United States Naval Academy, United States Military Academy, United States Air Force Academy, United States Coast Guard Academy, United States Merchant Marine Academy and the Department of Defense Medical Examination Review Board. In addition, various types of military hardware were on display for up-close, hands on familiarization for attendees to get a good look at some of the equipment currently in use by our military.
