Reserve Band performs annual Holiday Concert Dec. 8

  • Published
The Air Force Reserve Command presents its free annual holiday concert by the Band of the U.S. Air Force Reserve at the Museum of Aviation Dec. 8 at 7 p.m.

"2011 has been a wonderful year for us. We have travelled across the globe in support of Reserve missions and have brought a touch of home to our deployed service members abroad," said Maj. Donald Schofield, Commander of the Band of the U.S. Air Force Reserve.

"We have had the good fortune to perform this year with guest artists Wynonna Judd, Robin Meade, Little Big Town, Lee Ann Womack, Clay Walker and Nan Kelly. Bringing this level of professional entertainment to our troops, families and employers truly underscores how committed the Air Force Reserve is in developing relationships.
"Now, once again, we're thrilled to end this year sharing the gift of music with our Middle Georgia friends and family this holiday season."

The band will be performing festive holiday music. The free concert is open to the public. The performance takes place inside the Museum's Century of Flight Hangar.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with the concert starting at 7 p.m. Seating is limited.
